Introduction to Race Equality

This free training session from CRER will build your understanding of race and racism in the Scottish context, giving you the tools you need to promote equality for minority ethnic people.
The session combines training input and interactive discussion to explore:
- The concept of racism and how it operates on personal, social and institutional levels
- The impact of everyday racism
- Rights and responsibilities under equality law
- How our world view and perspectives affect the way we see each other
Registration and refreshments from 10am, with the session starting at 10.30am.
The training session is free to attend for voluntary sector staff and volunteers, however a limited number of places are available, so places must be booked in advance.
