Scotland’s Feminist Future

17th January 2020 - 18th January 2020

Engender Feminist Future 2020

Engender:

Join us for Scotland’s Feminist Future conference – a chance to build policy, discuss global feminist issues, and gain tools to make change.

At the conference we’ll be launching our updated Sex and Power 2020, and hearing from Christina McKelvie, Minister for Older People and Equalities. On Friday we’ll have workshops exploring key policy areas like the Equality Act, Hate Crime, and the gender in planning. On Saturday we’ll take a campaigning outlook – holding workshops on tackling key global challenges like climate change and conflict through a feminist lens. See the agenda and workshop descriptions for more info.

The conference will be at Glasgow Women’s Library and as usual we can provide care childcare and travel costs as needed, and will do all we can to ensure you have a great event. This event is open to all genders.

When you book, you will be asked if you would like to book for Friday, Saturday, or the whole event. After you have booked, we will email you with a survey asking you to confirm their place, and to select your workshop choices.
